I am a creative spirit with a million moods.  I love art and am fortunate enough to be able to see art in everything, everywhere I go.  Of course, it isn't too hard to appreciate the art that lies in the beautiful mountain scenes where I live in southwest Colorado.  I enjoy the outdoors especially near mountains and lakes.  Being near any kind of water…lakes, beaches, hot springs….makes me calm and reflective.  One of my best memories in life is sitting in the boat while my dad drove it fast over the waves at the lake and just closing my eyes and feeling the air on my cheeks.  I still experience this today, and in my opinion it's what life is all about!

I work with at-risk teens at a local public health department so adolescents are a population I am especially passionate about….it bothers me when people don't view teens as people.  I am also a candidate for my Masters of Science in mental health counseling which I will complete after my 900 hours of internship at a college counseling center.  I love it all.

I have joined this site with the intention of seeing the world in a more positive light, as it is easy to get dragged down by the daily grind.
